hCG Diet Recipes
When most people think of diets, they imagine how hard it will be to give up all the foods they love. At 1513 Anti-Aging & Weight Loss®, cutting calories doesn’t mean that you have to skimp on taste, or even dessert! Our 1513 Jump Start diet plan consists of a varied, low calorie diet with a daily supplement of the hCG hormone that your body naturally produces, which can help some patients quickly lose weight and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
Below are just a few simple hCG diet-friendly recipes that you can enjoy while still keeping your caloric intake between 500 to 1,000 calories per day.
Roasted Steak and Caramelized Onions
When you’re on the hCG diet, you can still have your steak and eat it, too!
- 3 oz. flank steak (about 127 calories)
- ½ sweet onion (about 20 – 50 calories)
- Salt and pepper
First, preheat the oven to broil. While you’re waiting for the oven to come to the perfect temperature, slice the sweet onion into small strips, and season the raw steak with salt and pepper.
At medium-high temperature, cook the steak in a large skillet for 3-4 minutes, flipping the meat halfway through. Pop the steak in the oven and cook to your preferred doneness.
While the steak cooks to perfection, sauté the onions with 1 tablespoon of water until brown, stirring frequently. When the steak is ready, top with onions and enjoy!
Enjoy this flavorful hCG diet version of the traditional Tex-Mex taco!
- 3.5 oz. chopped chicken breast (about 87 calories)
- ¼ cup chicken broth (about 5 calories)
- 1 tablespoon chopped onion (about 4 calories)
- 1 chopped garlic clove (about 4 calories)
- Pinch of fresh chopped cilantro
- Pinch of oregano
- Cayenne pepper
- 2-4 large lettuce leaves (about 8 – 16 calories)
- Salsa (about 4 calories per tablespoon)
Set the stove to medium, and cook the chicken and chicken broth together until done. To keep the chicken as juicy as possible, we recommend covering the pan. Gently mix in the chopped onion, garlic, and spices.
Serve the chicken in lettuce leaves, and add a dollop of salsa for a little extra flavor.
Cinnamon Apple Treats
What’s life without dessert? You can still enjoy these delectable apple treats while on the hCG diet.
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (about 3 calories)
- 1 cup apple pulp (about 235 calories)
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well and mold into cookie-sized pieces. (This recipe should make about 2 portions.)
Bake the treats for approximately 20 minutes, or until the cookies begin to brown. Let the treats cool for 5-10 minutes, and then enjoy!
